Normally the better offers of Ferry and Airplane are for the north of the Island, airport of Alghero, ports of Olbia or Porto Torres.

From any of these places you have first to go to Cagliari.

I have put a map of Sardinia with in blue the best street to take to go to Cagliari.

If you arrive to Olbia too, it is much better you take the motorway (SS: 131) that pass for the interior of Sardinia, because the street in the coast (“Orientale Sarda”, in red in the right part of the map) is not very good, it is panoramic, but there are a lot of curves and taking this street you will arrive in 6-7 hours and not in 3,5 - 4 as with the motorway.

 If you have time I sugest you a couple of Archeological stops on you way to Cagliari: Nuraghe Losa and the nearby Pozzo di Santa Cristina (near Paulilatino). They are just during the route.

Once you arrive to Cagliari you have to take the street for Villasimius, it is not difficult.

For the last part of the route, I have send you an aereal photo of the area of Villasimius with the route you have to make in red.
If you look at that map you will see that after Capo Boi the street leave the coast and goes slightly to the interior. Some Km. after Capo Boi you will see at you right hand a Supermarket (Ariete), a Pizzeria (Santa Maria) and some discoes (Peyote and Forteza).

Just after these you have to turn right following the signal to "Porto", "Campulongu" and make 1,5 km. more, the entrance of the Residence is the second street at your left hand. You will recognize that street because in front of it there is (at your right hand) a little triangular Square with a telephone.
